What we're building - and what's coming next.

QuantBIM evolves continuously, guided by feedback and the everyday practice of designers and contractors. Below you can see what is actively in development and what is planned next. The roadmap isn't set in stone; if a feature is missing, or there's a workflow we could simplify, do let us know. Nothing shapes the next versions more than good feedback.

Sign-in and account management are currently under active development.

Notifications and live comments

Add notes to any view, item, or group, and your teammates see them immediately with matching notifications. With Slack integration and other channels (email, mobile push, webhooks), notifications also reach phones and the tools you already use, so discussion stays where decisions are made — even when QuantBIM is not open.

AI assistant

Built-in intelligence, right inside your workflow

2.1

Context-aware, action-capable panel

AI assistance — Help and Chat

An integrated Help and Chat panel inside the app: ask about a feature, the current state of your model, or any action. The panel does not only explain — it can control QuantBIM directly, so suggestions can be applied in a single click. You choose the model provider: run a local model so data stays on your machine, use a model hosted by us, or connect an external provider with your own API key or Connector. With your own skill.md files, you can define rules, project logic, and best practices, so responses match your way of working. AI becomes part of your workflow, and you decide where it runs.

  • Direct action control, straight from the chat window
  • Your own skill.md knowledge base for rules and project logic
  • Models hosted by QuantBIM
  • Local, on-device model — your data stays put
  • Bring your own API key or use a Connector: Claude, ChatGPT, and the rest
