1. Data controller
This notice aims to inform data subjects in a concise and understandable way about the processing of their personal data, in line with the GDPR and Infotv.
FJE Engineering Ltd. (hereinafter: the Controller) acknowledges as binding the rules set out in this notice, which it has developed on the basis of applicable legislation and which relate to processing connected with operating the website www.quantbim.com.

The Controller undertakes that processing related to operating the website and providing its services complies in all respects with the applicable EU and Hungarian rules. The Controller reserves the right to amend this notice and undertakes to publish any amendment without delay.
2. Scope of personal data affected General information On the website, the Controller processes personal data only on the following legal bases:
on the basis of the data subject’s voluntary, informed and prior consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), or to the extent necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), or to the extent necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Purpose of processing: fulfilling customer needs and maintaining the customer relationship.
Categories of data processed: surname and given name, phone number, mailing address, e-mail address, and — where the billing address differs from the mailing address — billing data.
Where an order or customer relationship is established, the Controller must retain the name and billing data for 8 years from the transaction pursuant to Section 169(2) of Act C of 2000 on accounting. Other personal data are deleted 1 year after the last contact or purchase.

Prior information for the data subject
The Controller informs the data subject — briefly, clearly and in sufficient detail — of all material circumstances relating to the processing of their data, including in particular: the purpose and legal basis of processing, who may process or process on behalf of the Controller, the duration of processing, and who may access the data.
The information also covers the data subject’s rights and remedies in relation to processing.
5. Personal data; purpose, legal basis and duration of processing
All processing of personal data relating to the data subject is based on voluntary consent or compliance with a statutory obligation.
Website visitors’ data
When visiting www.quantbim.com, the Controller records, for technical reasons and to compile usage statistics, the IP address of visitors who are not identifiable as individuals, the time of the visit and the URL of the page viewed. These data are statistical in nature and cannot be linked to an identifiable natural person.
The server stores such data for at most one month. Legal basis for processing: the data subject’s voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
For personalised service, the Controller may place cookies on the user’s device. By using the website, the user consents to cookies being placed. The Controller allows third parties — in particular Google LLC — to use cookies to record return visits and display targeted advertisements accordingly. Users may delete cookies at any time or configure their browser to block them. Google ad cookies may be disabled at
google.com/settings/ads . Blocking cookies may limit some site features.
Contact forms, orders, customer correspondence Data processed: name, address, phone number, e-mail address.
Messages are used only for their intended purpose. If no business relationship is formed, data are stored for at most 30 days from contact and then irreversibly deleted. If a business relationship is formed, data must be retained for 8 years under Section 169(2) of Act C of 2000 on accounting.
Other processing
For processing not covered by this notice, the Controller will provide detailed information before processing begins and will obtain GDPR-compliant consent where required.
6. Storage and security of data The servers serving the Controller’s website run on infrastructure provided by Tárhely.Eu Szolgáltató Kft.
Data security In processing, the Controller ensures:
integrity and confidentiality: only authorised persons may access the data, and accuracy and completeness are protected;
availability: data remain accessible to authorised users when needed.
Electronic messages sent over the internet — regardless of protocol — are exposed to various network risks. The Controller takes all reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data (Article 32 GDPR) and regularly reviews their effectiveness.
Storage The Controller selects and operates software and IT equipment so that processed data:
remain accessible to those entitled (availability); are authentic and verifiable (integrity of processing); can be checked for unauthorised alteration (data integrity); are protected against unauthorised access (confidentiality). 7. Data transfers
The Controller may transfer personal data strictly necessary to fulfil an order to sales and/or service partners in accordance with applicable law. Any transfer complies with Articles 44–49 GDPR. Transfers to third countries occur only where appropriate safeguards exist.
8. Intellectual property and trade marks
The website www.quantbim.com and all content available on it — including without limitation text, graphics, logos, software, user interfaces and databases — is intellectual property of FJE Engineering Ltd. and is protected under Act LXXVI of 1999 on copyright and related intellectual property laws.
The Controller’s protected signs include:
QuantBIM — the name and brand of the Controller’s software product; FJE Engineering — the Controller’s company and trade name.
The above and any other brand names, logos and graphic identifiers used by the Controller are exclusive intellectual property of FJE Engineering Ltd. Their use, copying, distribution, modification or commercial exploitation without permission is prohibited and may entail civil and criminal liability.
Using the services does not grant the user any intellectual property rights in the services or content. Content derived from the services may be used only with the Controller’s prior written permission or to the extent expressly permitted by law.
Third parties may not — without the Controller’s prior written consent — reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, adapt or otherwise commercially exploit the content.
The user is not entitled to copy, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer or obtain the source code of the software or service or parts thereof, or to create new software or services from them.
9. Remedies Right to information
The data subject may request information on the processing of their personal data at any time (Article 15 GDPR). The Controller must provide the information in writing, in an understandable form, within 30 days of the request at the latest. The first request is free of charge; for repeated requests on the same matter, the Controller may charge a reasonable fee.
Rectification and erasure
The data subject may request rectification (Article 16 GDPR) or erasure (Article 17 GDPR) if processing is unlawful, the purpose has ceased, the statutory retention period has expired, or a court or supervisory authority has ordered erasure. The Controller must notify without delay anyone to whom the data were previously disclosed. Erasure may be refused only where a legal obligation requires retention.
Right to object
The data subject may object to processing (Article 21 GDPR), in particular where it is based on the legitimate interests of the Controller or a third party or is for direct marketing or research. The Controller will examine the objection within 15 days of receipt and notify the data subject in writing. If the objection is justified, processing will cease without delay. The data subject may bring court proceedings within 30 days of being informed of the Controller’s decision.
Right to restriction of processing
The data subject may request restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR) if they contest accuracy, processing is unlawful, or the Controller no longer needs the data but the data subject requires them for legal claims.
Supervisory and judicial remedies A complaint may be lodged with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):

If the data subject’s rights are infringed, they may also bring proceedings against the Controller. Jurisdiction is determined by Act CXXX of 2016 on civil procedure.
10. Other provisions
Matters not regulated herein are governed by Hungarian law, in particular the GDPR, Infotv., Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code, Act LXXVI of 1999 on copyright, and Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection.
Disputes arising from or relating to this notice shall first be sought to be settled amicably. If that fails, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction at the Controller’s registered seat.
